The UGears Steam Express 2.5D is a 2.5D wooden puzzle that allows you to build your own replica of a classic steam locomotive and passenger carriage. The model is made of high-quality plywood and comes with all the necessary parts and instructions.
The Steam Express 2.5D is a bit like a cross between a 2D flat picture and a 3D model. It presents three perspectives: side view, front view, and a side view of the passenger carriage. The model has several moving parts, including driving wheels, connecting and coupling rods, smokebox hatch, and a secret mechanism that lets you slide open the carriage to reveal a beautifully appointed dining car.
The Steam Express 2.5D is a fun and challenging puzzle to build. It is suitable for ages 14 and up, but younger builders may be able to complete it with help from an adult.
