The RPM Hybrid Gearbox Housing and Rear Mounts are designed to solve a multitude of issues with stock and other aftermarket transmission housings. Aluminium and nylon for the perfect combination of strength, durability and heat dissipation.

Features:

Aluminium Motor Plate

3mm 6061 T6 aluminum.

Locks in gear mesh.

Significant heat dissipation over plastic

Not integrated with rear bumper mounts. Rear impacts will not bend motor plate, (when used with rear bumper or bumper mount system like RPM #80902 or #80905).

Molded Gearbox Housings

Bulletproof nylon blend.

Retains stock bumper mounting holes.

Retains a stock 'cover' for the motor.

Eliminates bottom hole in stock housing, keeping internal gears cleaner.

Quiet, enclosed gearbox housing.

Smoother exterior. Less dirt build-up.

Transmission maintenance won't affect suspension settings.

Molded Rear Mounts (0° & 3° Rear Mounts Included)

Separate from the gearbox housing and easy to access.

Bulletproof nylon blend.

Molded mounts means tighter tolerances and less slop. Better camber and toe angle retention.

Comes with mounting hardware and instructions.

Application Notes

Replaces Traxxas #3691 and #3691A. Modification of stock a-arms may be needed to allow free suspension movement. Modification not required with RPM rear a-arms.
