Description
The Reedy Brushless RTR ESC On/Off Switch (Part No: AS29184) is the official factory replacement power switch for Reedy’s high-performance sensorless brushless speed controllers. Because the power switch is a mechanical component often exposed to dirt, moisture, and vibration, it is a common wear item. This replacement ensures your ESC remains reliable and prevents "ghost" power-offs during a race or bash session.
Key Features:
- Universal Compatibility: Specifically designed for the SC600-BL, SC800-BL, and SC1000-BL series of ESCs commonly found in Team Associated RTR vehicles like the Rival MT10, Trophy Rat, and Pro4 SC10.
- Rugged Slide Design: Features a robust mechanical slider with a positive "click" engagement, making it harder for debris to accidentally toggle the power during rough terrain runs.
- Sealed Housing: Includes a rubberized/plastic shroud to help prevent dust and light splashes from entering the internal contact points.
- Standard JST Connection: Features the specialized 2-pin connector that plugs directly into the ESC’s dedicated switch port, allowing for a "solder-free" repair.
- Integrated Mounting Tabs: Includes pre-molded ears for screw-mounting to the chassis or ESC tray, providing a clean and secure installation.

Expert Maintenance Tip:
In off-road environments, switches can become "gritty" due to fine dust. Pro-Tip: If your switch feels difficult to move, do not force it. Spray a tiny amount of plastic-safe contact cleaner into the slider and move it back and forth several times (with the battery disconnected). This will clear out the grit and restore the electrical connection without needing to replace the part.
Installation Note: When mounting the switch to your chassis, ensure the wires are not pulled taut. Constant tension on the wires can cause them to pull out of the back of the switch housing over time. Leave a small amount of "slack" to account for chassis flex and vibration.
