The Reedy Blackbox 30x30x7mm Fan (Part No: AS27028) is the ultra-slim cooling solution designed for tight chassis layouts. While the standard 10mm fan provides maximum air volume, this 7mm "low-profile" variant is specifically engineered for 1/10 scale touring cars and buggies where body shell clearance or mid-motor components make a standard-height fan impossible to fit.

Because this fan is thinner, the blades have less mass and can be more sensitive to high-voltage spikes. Pro-Tip: If you are running your BEC at 7.4V for high-voltage servos, ensure your fan wires are routed away from the motor wires. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) from the motor can occasionally cause "ghosting" or stuttering in these high-speed slim fans, leading to premature bearing failure.

Mounting Note: The included screws are specifically sized for the 7mm thickness. Warning: Do not use the longer screws from the 10mm fan (AS27031) with this unit, as they will pass through the fan and could potentially pierce the ESC casing or short out the internal electronics.
