Description
The RadioLink TS100 Mini GPS (Part No: RLKA001005) is an ultra-compact, high-performance positioning module designed specifically for micro-UAVs and weight-sensitive racing drones. Despite its small footprint (roughly 32mm x 30mm), it utilizes the same u-blox M8N decoder technology as larger modules, delivering professional-grade 50cm positioning accuracy without the bulk.
Key Features:
- Ultra-Lightweight Design: Weighing only 21g, it is ideal for small 130mm–250mm drones where every gram impacts flight agility and battery life.
- High-Precision M8N Chip: Powered by the u-blox UBX-M8030 (M8) 72-channel chip, it supports concurrent reception of GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou for rock-solid stability.
- Dual Anti-Interference Technology: Features two-stage SAWF (Surface Acoustic Wave Filters) from Murata to ensure clear signal reception even when mounted near high-power video transmitters (VTx).
- Integrated Electronic Compass: Includes a built-in QMC5883L (Honeywell technology) magnetometer, providing the essential heading data required for "Return to Home" and "Loiter" modes.
- Rapid Satellite Acquisition: Capable of locking onto 20 satellites in as little as 6 seconds in open sky conditions, with a high-gain 2.5dBi ceramic antenna.
- Plug-and-Play Compatibility: Specifically optimized for the RadioLink Mini PIX and Turbo PIX flight controllers, while remaining compatible with standard Pixhawk units.

Setup Tip:
The TS100 is designed for compact builds where it often sits close to the flight controller. Pro-Tip: To ensure the internal compass works correctly, keep the module at least 2–3 inches away from high-current power wires or ESCs. Like the SE100, ensure the arrow on the casing points toward the "nose" of your aircraft to prevent navigation errors.
Note: If you are using a newer flight controller that supports higher update rates, look for the TS100 V2.0 (M10N), which offers a 20Hz update rate and even faster acquisition times.
