Description

The RadioLink Transmitter Wheel (Part No: RLKA001030) is an official replacement steering component designed for RadioLink’s premium line of surface transmitters. Whether you are looking to refresh a worn-out grip or replace a wheel damaged during transport, this assembly ensures the high-precision steering feel required for competitive racing and technical crawling.

Key Features:

  • Ergonomic Foam Grip: Features a high-density, anti-slip foam tire that provides a comfortable and consistent feel, reducing hand fatigue during long racing sessions or endurance crawls.
  • Precision Tension: Engineered to work with the internal spring mechanisms of the RC4GS, RC6GS, and RC8X series, maintaining the factory-standard "return-to-center" accuracy.
  • Direct Fitment: Designed as a "drop-in" part. It matches the specific keyed shaft of RadioLink transmitters, ensuring there is no "slop" or play in the steering input.
  • Durable Construction: The inner rim is molded from high-impact composite plastic, designed to withstand the rigors of track-side use and frequent adjustments.

Technical Specifications:

Attribute Specification
Part Number RLKA001030
Material Composite Rim / High-Density Foam Grip
Compatibility RC4GS (V1-V3), RC6GS (V1-V3), RC8X
Color Black / Stealth Grey
Attachment Style Keyed shaft with center screw retention

Installation Steps:

Replacing the wheel is a simple 2-minute process. Pro-Tip: Carefully remove the center decorative cap on your current steering wheel to reveal the mounting screw. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screw, pull the old wheel straight off the shaft, and slide the new RLKA001030 wheel on. Make sure the "D-shape" or keyed slot aligns perfectly before tightening the screw.

Maintenance Tip:

Over time, dirt and oils from your hands can cause the foam grip to lose its "tackiness." Pro-Tip: You can clean the foam grip with a damp cloth and a tiny drop of mild dish soap to restore the texture. Avoid using harsh chemicals or brake cleaners, as these can cause the foam to break down or detach from the rim.

Note: If you find your steering feels "crunchy" after installing the new wheel, check that the wheel isn't pressed too tightly against the transmitter body, which can cause friction against the plastic casing.
