The RadioLink Replacement Transmitter Antenna (Part No: RLKA001034) is the official factory spare designed to maintain the long-range performance of your surface radio. Because the antenna is the most exposed part of the transmitter, it is susceptible to damage from drops or being caught in transport bags. This replacement ensures your 600-meter ground range remains intact and prevents the internal RF module from overheating due to a broken signal path.

Installation Tip:

Replacing the antenna requires opening the transmitter case. Pro-Tip: After removing the housing screws, be gentle when pulling the halves apart, as there are wires connected to the battery compartment and switches. When snapping the new IPEX connector onto the RF board, use a pair of plastic tweezers to align it perfectly before applying pressure. You should feel a tiny, tactile "click" when it seats correctly.

Signal Optimization:

For the best performance, never point the tip of the antenna directly at your vehicle. Pro-Tip: The signal is strongest coming off the side of the antenna. Tilt the antenna 90 degrees (so it is parallel to the ground or the transmitter face) to ensure the widest signal "donut" covers the area where you are driving.

Warning: Never turn on your transmitter while the antenna is disconnected. Operating the RF module without an antenna (a "no-load" condition) can cause the internal transmitter chip to overheat and fail permanently.
