RadioLink R8SM 2.4GHz 8-Channel S-Bus / PPM Receiver

The RadioLink R8SM (Part No: RLKR081008) is an ultra-miniature 8-channel receiver designed for space-constrained builds like micro-racing drones, gliders, and small fixed-wing aircraft. At just 2g, it provides a full 2km control range and utilizes FHSS frequency-hopping technology to maintain a stable connection in environments with high radio interference.

Binding & Mode Selection:

The R8SM features a single LED to indicate its working mode. Pro-Tip: To switch between S-Bus and PPM, quickly press the ID SET button on the side of the receiver twice within one second. A Blue/Purple LED indicates S-Bus mode, while a Red LED indicates PPM mode. For binding, hold the ID SET button for more than one second until the LED flashes, then turn on your transmitter to complete the process.

Installation Note: Due to its tiny size, the R8SM can be sensitive to heat. Avoid mounting it directly on top of high-power Video Transmitters (VTx) or ESCs. Using a small piece of double-sided foam tape will help provide both vibration dampening and a small thermal air gap.
