The RadioLink R12DS Replacement Receiver Antenna (Part No: RLKA001009) is an official spare part designed to restore full signal range and reliability to your 12-channel receiver. Because 2.4GHz systems rely on a specific active element length, a kinked, frayed, or cut antenna can drastically reduce control distance and lead to dangerous signal "brownouts."

Key Features:

• Direct Factory Replacement: Designed specifically for the R12DS, ensuring the active element (the stripped tip) is tuned precisely to the 2.4GHz ISM band.
• Dual-Antenna System: Since the R12DS is a diversity receiver, it uses two of these antennas. Replacing a single damaged lead restores the receiver's ability to switch to the strongest signal path.
• IPEX (U.FL) Connector: Features a micro-miniature "push-on" connector, allowing for a solder-free replacement. Simply pop off the old connector from the receiver board and click the new one into place.

Installation Tip:

When installing the new antenna, be extremely careful with the IPEX connector on the receiver board, as it is fragile. Pro-Tip: Use a pair of plastic tweezers to align the connector perfectly over the socket before applying light downward pressure. You should feel a distinct "click." To prevent the antenna from vibrating loose, you can apply a tiny drop of non-conductive electronics glue (like E6000) over the connector once seated.

Antenna Routing: For maximum range (up to 4km), ensure the two antennas are mounted at a 90-degree angle to each other. This ensures that no matter the orientation of the aircraft, at least one antenna is always in an optimal position to receive signal from the transmitter.
