KingTech Bluetooth Module

The KingTech Bluetooth Module (Part No: KNGBDT) is a modern interface tool designed to bridge your KingTech turbine engine with your mobile device. Serving as a wireless Ground Support Unit (GSU), it allows pilots to monitor data, adjust engine parameters, and perform system tests directly from a smartphone or tablet via the dedicated KingTech BDT GSU app.

Key Features:

• Wireless GSU Functionality: Replaces the traditional wired GSU for everyday tasks, allowing you to stand comfortably near your model while adjusting settings or viewing status.
• App-Based Control: Compatible with both iOS and Android devices. The app provides a high-resolution interface for monitoring RPM, temperature, pump voltage, and throttle curves.
• Wide Compatibility: Fully supports KingTech G2, G3, and G4 ECU systems. While G4 ECUs have enhanced connectivity, the KNGBDT remains the primary way to add Bluetooth capability to older G2/G3 units.
• Programming & Tuning: Allows for real-time parameterization, making it much easier to fine-tune the radio/transmitter setup and throttle response without fumbling with physical buttons.
• Ultra-Lightweight: At just 0.01 kg (10g), it can be permanently installed in the airframe without affecting the flight characteristics or center of gravity.

Usage & Setup Tip:

To get started, simply plug the KNGBDT module into the GSU port on your ECU and download the "BDT GSU" app from the App Store or Google Play. Ensure your device's Bluetooth is active before powering on the turbine electronics. Pro-Tip: Use the app to log your engine runs; it’s an excellent way to keep a digital flight log of total run time and peak temperatures, which is helpful for tracking maintenance cycles.

Note: While the module allows for most GSU functions, it is always recommended to keep your original wired GSU in your field box as a backup for firmware updates or deep system troubleshooting.
