Lead acid and gel cell batteries do not like being left discharged. To get the maximum life out of your battery, always put it on the JP 5510506 Charger as soon as you return from the field. Leaving a lead-acid battery in a discharged state can lead to sulfation, which permanently reduces its capacity. Note: This charger is NOT compatible with LiPo, LiFe, or NiMH batteries.
