Description
The cavalry regiments were considered the elite forces of the Confederate armies during the American Civil War. The uniforms were characterized by the yellow gallons. Very varied the individual weapons as well as the customized uniforms. Among the most famous cavalry commanders, James Ewell Braun (J.E.B.) Stuart, who became famous for his bravery during the First Battle of Bull Run.
