Description
Genuine manufacturer's spare part for the Fastrax Electric Roto Torque Start but could be used with other types of electric start that use a standard 6mm hexagonal drive shaft.
Ideal if you have more than one nitro car and don't want to buy another complete electric starter.
The backplate features a specially designed 'slip' unit to avoid possible damage should the engine lock up.
Designed to only fit the HoBao Hyper 21, 28 or 30 engines and has a housing that is specific to these engines. Will NOT fit other makes of similar sized engines.We do sell other backplates which might be suitable for your engine.
Suits Hobao Hyper Mach 21, 28 or 30 engines.
Requires a 6mm hex drive shaft for operation.
Centre hexagonal housing fits 12mm (or 10mm with supplied adaptor) shafts as measured across the flats.
Approximately 18mm maximum width.
The big advantage of this design of backplate is that it follows that of the majority of manual pull start assemblies so access with the drive shaft should not be a problem.
Please note that it is not suitable for the new type of Hobao COPS design of pullstart engines which are identifiable by the two piece green handle on the pullstart.
