Description
The Hobbywing Standard Capacitors Module C (HW30840009) is the factory-spec capacitor bank designed specifically for the XeRun XD10 Pro and XR10 Pro series. While it is the "Standard" version compared to the high-capacity upgrade modules, it is still a high-performance component engineered to handle the rapid current switching of professional drift and on-road ESCs. It provides the essential voltage stabilization required to protect your electronics from back-EMF spikes.
Key Features:
- Precise Voltage Smoothing: Designed to filter "ripple current," which reduces the electrical noise that can interfere with sensitive gyros (common in RWD drift) and receivers.
- MOSFET Protection: By absorbing voltage peaks, it prevents the ESC's internal transistors from exceeding their voltage limits, significantly increasing the reliability of the unit.
- Compact & Lightweight: The 3-capacitor horizontal layout is optimized to fit under low-profile drift bodies and within the narrow chassis of modern 1/10 touring cars.
- Reduced Heat: Effectively lowers the operating temperature of the ESC by up to 10-15% by reducing the workload on the internal capacitor board.
- Low ESR Design: Features Low Equivalent Series Resistance, ensuring the capacitors can react fast enough to keep up with high-frequency brushless motor timing.

Why 20V Capacitors?
Unlike the Upgrade versions (which use 16V caps to squeeze in more capacity), the Standard Module C uses 20V-rated capacitors. This provides a larger "safety ceiling" against voltage spikes. While it has less total storage (1680µF vs 3000µF), it is exceptionally durable and more than sufficient for 13.5T or 17.5T "Stock" class racing and standard drift setups.
Pro-Tip:
Always check the polarity! The Black wire must go to the Negative (-) terminal and the Red wire to the Positive (+) terminal on your ESC. Reversing these will result in the capacitors popping instantly upon battery connection.
