Description
The Hobbywing QuicRun 2030SL G2 (5000Kv) is a high-efficiency, sensorless brushless motor designed for 1/18 and 1/16 scale RC vehicles. Within the G2 (Generation 2) lineup, the 5000Kv variant is widely considered the "all-rounder." It provides a substantial torque-to-speed ratio, making it ideal for heavier mini-vehicles or those running on 4WD platforms like the Arrma Typhon Grom or the Traxxas LaTrax series. It offers a cooler running temperature and more controlled throttle feel compared to its higher-Kv siblings.
Key Features:
- High Torque Efficiency: The 5000Kv rating offers more "grunt" for off-road driving, helping small-scale trucks and buggies navigate grass or dirt without over-stressing the ESC.
- G2 Structural Upgrades: Features improved internal lamination and a balanced 2-pole rotor, which minimizes vibration at high RPM and maximizes the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical power.
- Broad Compatibility: The 20mm diameter and 30mm length (2030 size) make it a direct "drop-in" upgrade for almost any vehicle originally equipped with a 370 or 380 brushed motor.
- Plug-and-Play: Pre-installed with 3.5mm gold-plated bullet connectors for a secure, low-resistance connection to the Hobbywing QuicRun WP-16BL30 ESC.
- Robust Build: Encased in a CNC-machined aluminum housing with a "blacked-out" finish, designed to handle the rigors of backyard bashing and track racing.

Performance Tip:
While the 6500Kv and 7800Kv versions are largely restricted to 2S LiPo, the 5000Kv G2 is a prime candidate for 3S LiPo use (if your ESC supports it). On 3S, this motor becomes a "beast," delivering incredible top speeds while staying within a safer RPM range than the higher-Kv models. If you choose to run 3S, ensure your drivetrain—specifically the plastic differentials found in many 1/18 scales—can handle the massive increase in torque.
