Description

The Hobbywing Motor Bearing Rear (HW30820023) is the high-precision replacement bearing for the endbell (rear) side of Hobbywing’s XeRun and EzRun motor lines. While the front bearing handles the mechanical stress of the pinion gear, the rear bearing is responsible for stabilizing the rotor's high-speed rotation and housing the sensitive sensor assembly on sensored models. This genuine part ensures the rotor stays perfectly centered, preventing it from "slapping" the internal stator.

Key Features:

  • High-RPM Stability: Specifically balanced to handle the extreme rotational speeds of 1/10 and 1/8 scale brushless systems without generating excessive heat or vibration.
  • Reduced Friction: Engineered with high-grade internal balls and specialized lubrication to minimize drag, which can help lower overall motor temperatures and slightly increase runtime.
  • Shielded Protection: Features a protective shield to prevent internal carbon brush dust (in the case of the sensor board) or external debris from entering the bearing races.
  • Perfect Factory Fit: Unlike "generic" bearings, this is the exact size required for a snug press-fit into the rear endbell of Hobbywing's 36mm and 42mm motor cans.

Pro-Rebuild Tip:

When disassembling a sensored motor (like the XeRun G3) to replace the rear bearing, be extremely careful not to damage the sensor board or the thin shims (washers) located on the rotor shaft. These shims control the "end-play" of the rotor; if they are missing or installed in the wrong order, the rotor can slide back and forth, causing the motor to growl or eventually fail. It is best practice to replace both the front (HW30820028) and rear bearings at the same time for a consistent, vibration-free rebuild.
