The Futaba SBD-2 8-channel S.Bus Servo Decoder is an essential expansion tool for pilots and modelers using the Futaba S.Bus/S.Bus2 ecosystem. While standard receivers are limited by their physical PWM ports, the SBD-2 allows you to convert a single S.Bus digital signal into eight conventional PWM outputs. This means you can use your existing standard (non-S.Bus) servos even on high-channel-count models without needing to buy expensive digital S.Bus-native servos.

Pro Installation Tip:

When using the EXT.BATT port to power your servos independently, you must remove the shorting pin supplied with the unit. This prevents the external battery from back-feeding into the receiver. Additionally, if you are using analog servos, ensure your receiver is not in "High Speed" or "FASSTest 12ch" mode, as the faster frame rate can cause analog servos to jitter or burn out.
