Description
The Futaba HPS-H701 is a high-performance, standard-size brushless servo specifically engineered for large RC helicopters (500–800 class). Replacing the popular HPS-H700, it features a custom High Power Brushless (HPS) motor that delivers massive torque and lightning-fast speeds while maintaining lower power consumption and reduced heat buildup. With its full aluminum case and titanium-enhanced gear train, it is built to withstand the extreme cyclic loads of 3D and F3C helicopter competition.

- Dual Frequency Support: Can be toggled between 1520µs (standard) and 760µs (ultra-high speed) pulse widths, allowing it to interface perfectly with high-end flybarless (FBL) gyro systems.
- S.Bus2 & PWM Versatility: Fully compatible with S.Bus2 systems for single-cable telemetry and programming, while remaining compatible with traditional PWM receiver ports.
- Full Aluminum Construction: The top, middle, and bottom sections of the case are CNC-machined aluminum to maximize heat dissipation and structural rigidity.
- Programmable Parameters: When used with a CIU-3 or S.Bus-compatible transmitter, you can fine-tune dead band, travel, damping, and "soft start" behavior.

Heli Pilot’s Setup Tip:
To achieve the 40kg+ torque rating and 0.07s speeds often cited in high-end specs, ensure you are using a 2S LiPo (8.4V) power source. Additionally, if your flybarless unit supports it, switching the H701 to 760µs mode will provide the highest possible resolution and response for aggressive 3D maneuvers. Note that the 760µs setting requires a compatible gyro; connecting it to a standard 1520µs port in this mode will prevent the servo from operating.
