Description
The Futaba HPS-CD701 is a high-end, low-profile brushless servo specifically engineered for 1/10 scale drift and touring car competition. As the upgraded successor to the HPS-CD700, it introduces full compatibility with Futaba's UR (Ultra Response) mode. This revolutionary protocol, when used with the T10PX transmitter and F-4G system, provides the fastest signal processing in Futaba's history, delivering the "locked-in" steering feel and lightning-quick counter-steering required for professional-level drifting.
Key Features:
- UR & SR Mode Compatibility: Supports both Ultra Response (UR) and Super Response (SR) modes, allowing drivers to choose the level of latency and resolution that best suits their driving style.
- Low-Profile Design: Its short-body height (26.2mm) makes it ideal for tight chassis layouts in modern RWD drift cars where space is at a premium.
- High Power Brushless (HPS) Motor: Provides high torque output and incredible speed with lower power consumption and significantly reduced heat fade during long practice sessions.
- Full Aluminum Case: CNC-machined upper, middle, and bottom case sections act as a massive heat sink while ensuring the gear train remains perfectly aligned under high-load cornering.
- S.Bus2 Integration: Enables full telemetry and wireless parameter adjustment through compatible transmitters, allowing you to change "Boost," "Damping," and "Stretcher" settings without a PC.

Drifter's Setup Tip:
To unlock the UR Mode on the HPS-CD701, you must first set the servo to UR mode using a CIU-3 USB adapter or the S.Bus setting port on a T10PX transmitter. Because UR mode operates at such a high frequency, it is strictly for use with compatible digital systems; attempting to use this mode with an analog-only receiver or gyro can lead to erratic behavior or damage. For the ultimate drift setup, pair this with the GYD560 gyro for seamless wireless tuning.
