The Mamod London bus is one of the most impressive models in the range and is based on the original 1920’s “B” type omnibus of the London General Omnibus Company. It features a curved outside stairway to the upper deck and period style graphics adorn the coachwork, making a very striking model.

Mamod steam models hark back to a bygone age when horse drawn vehicles were being replaced by steam driven vehicles in the 1900's. In keeping with the rest of the Mamod range, this most impressive model is made from heavy gauge steel and brass and will last for generations. Now supplied with safe, non-toxic, environmentally friendly, ethanol based gel biofuel.

  • Dimensions: 455 x 285 x 170 mm
  • Pressure Safety Valve
  • Supplied complete with funnel, oil and gel fuel.
  • Recommended Age 14+ or with supervision.

If you are seeking a hobby, buying that special gift or adding to a unique collection then working steam engines give pleasure to young and old alike and will be treasured for life.

Mamod was founded in Birmingham, U.K. by Geoffrey Malins in the late 1930's. Mamod initially made model stationary live steam engines, progressing to road rollers, traction engines and roadsters over the years. Mamod's live steam railway first appeared on the market in 1981. Their reputation for excellence has been built up over 50 years. All models are tested to strict standards and safety valves control the working pressures of all units. The Mamod range is broad, obtainable in pre-assembled or kit form to give variety and choice.

Please note that Mamod have changed the style of the headlamps.
