Sentry boxes were soon fitted with telephones and members of club were provided with keys, so that they could use the telephone to summon assistance. At its height the RAC's network of sentry boxes totalled some 500 examples.

Skaledale buildings and accessories bring an atmosphere of life and character to any “OO” model railway. The hand crafted and hand decorated poly resin structures can be positioned on a layout without further enhancement, however, just a small amount of weathering can make all the difference.
Skaledale model buildings and structures have been specially produced for indoor or outdoor use. Each building can be easily incorporated into a model railway layout, and as more buildings and structures are introduced and collected so 'Skaledale' will gradually develop into a typical British country village with a Church, School, Shop, Public House plus cottages and houses. No additional finishing is required, however each item can be individualised if desired with suitable paints.
