This is the latest version of the very popular Flying Scotsman train set which includes the new and improved train controller.

The most famous locomotive in the World features in this top of the range Hornby train set. The striking LNER apple green Class A1 4-6-2 Flying Scotsman helps to recreate those wonderful days of train travel in the 1930s summer seasons when it ran non-stop from London to Edingburgh. The prototype locomotive had a corridor link through the tender to the coaches to allow crews to switch over without stopping the train.

The track circuit in this set can be extended to fit the MidiMat included and with the addition of Hornby Track and accessory packs an exciting model railway layout can be created. Additional coaches can be obtained to extend the train.
